How to Remove Audio from a Video in Premiere Pro CC (Separate & Mute Audio)
Audio can be separated and removed from a video in Premiere Pro by unlinking the tracks. The video and audio can be separated by selecting the video and selecting the unlink option from the right click menu. Unlinking will allow you to move and make changes to the video and audio layers individually, without affecting the other. Once separated the audio track can be selected and deleted.
