How to Get There (Guitarist Motivation)
We often say we want to be 'there' or get to that place. One of the things I've learned in life is there's really not a 'there.'
There is, however, the next level. And that's a neverending journey. And I've found that one of the best ways to grow is embracing where you are in your journey while continuing to take action and move forward.
This is true in playing guitar and also true in many aspects of your life.
If you sit around and beat yourself up for not being where you want to be and you allow the negative thoughts to creep in, it's going to be more difficult for you to get to that next level.
But if you embrace that moment, and be grateful for where you're at while working towards your goal, you may find that not only will you reach that next level but you will have enjoyed the process of getting there.
