Today I woke up to this good news. My video called 'You're Just a Rhythm Guitar Player and...' which was copyright claimed by UMG, had been released. This means UMG no longer holds the monetization rights to the video. The initial request from me to release the claim was denied. But I persisted and emailed UMG a number of times and it was finally released.
One win for the small guy :)
