My Current OBS Studio Settings That Fixed My Encoder Overload - 20/06/2019

This problem had persisted for quite awhile now when i'd stream/record it'd always say overload.. i went to OBS forums an didnt find my answer there, tried discord an some people there was having issues there also, then i thought well what if instead of increasing everything like what i was reading what if i went backwards.. Mind blown

With these settings fair enough its only 720p however the proccess works with 720p, 1080p etc.

Bitrate: (i used 5000 in Vid) However run a test on your internet to see what your upload speed is 1mb upload = 1000kbps leave yourself atleast 3mbs headroom on your upload speed
(I have 20mbs but only set mine to 5000)
Preset: usually depends on the game your playing - i tested with Arma 3, Witcher 3 and Warframe an found that Quality performed best for me

Set your base canvas to your monitors top listed one that it allows an scale down the video output to your desired stream/recording capture
(I showed here the lowest setting im comfortable viewing but i have tried on higher resolutions an it works)

Everywhere i went was showing streaming bitrate an not many people spoke on the recording bitrate, the only advice i was given by someone on reddit was whack it up higher then your streams bitrate ^^

The Hotkeys where so it didnt make my system have a breakdown whenever i wanna start an stop or mute/unmute (Not needed)
I'm Sure therers more i could do with my equipment to look clearer/cleaner but this was done only as this is my minimum to see just how low i could go before it starts to look unwatchable an as this setting worked for me an i know of a few people that also have this issue with encode i thought i'd make a very short video showing my settings, hope this helps someone.

If you know of any better settings/advice i'd like to know thanks!
