How To Install The Grammarly Google Chrome Extension [Guide]
One of Grammarly’s features that makes it such a powerful English grammar checker is that you can add it to Chrome to check your grammar in-browser text boxes as you write.
Grammarly for Chrome gives you automatic spell-checker capabilities every time you write something in Chrome, including social media postings, Google Docs documents, emails, and more.
Commands Used In This Tutorial:
1. Chrome Extensions
1. Open the Chrome browser and visit the Chrome Web Store.
2. Search for Grammarly and select Grammarly for Chrome from the list, making sure the author is grammarly.com
3. Click Add to Chrome.
4. When prompted, click Add Extension.
Grammarly’s browser extension also includes various features to help you improve your writing, such as looking up definitions or synonyms. Grammarly detects errors in your writing and offers solutions. These include: Spelling, grammar, and punctuation, Wordy or unclear sentences, Tone, Paragraphing, Plagiarism, Citations. Since the extension is installed into the browser, Grammarly will run on any text editor that you use within the browser, such as email, Google Docs, Facebook, Twitter, and more!
