In this part, we complete a 25 Floor Hunter Mode run in ScareScraper, as an example of what the Multiplayer looks like. I then show the entire list of ghosts available in ScareScraper to complete the game.

---------Additional Info---------

The final medal we obtain is unlocked by catching at least one of every ghost available in the Multiplayer ScareScraper. Below is a mass of information on how the ScareScraper works.

ScareScraper is the Multiplayer Mode for Luigi's Mansion 2 (and 3), however it can also be played solo. There are three modes initially available at the start which are Hunter Mode, Rush Mode, and Polterpup Mode. The goal is to move through 5, 10, 25, or eventually Endless Floors of the ScareScraper while completing the selected mode's objectives. Upon completing all three modes, Surprise Mode is unlocked. Additionally completing 25 Floors in a mode will unlock it's Endless.

Hunter Mode's objective is to track down and capture all of the ghosts on that floor in order to advance to the next one. If all players faint at the same time, the game is over.

Rush Mode's objective is to run through all of the rooms on the floor to find the exit room, then everyone playing must stand on a switch to open the exit, stop the timer, and move on the next floor. If the timer runs out, all players faint at the same time, or you're playing with trolls/afks who won't stand on their exit switch, the game is over. Players can search furniture, or capture ghosts to get Timepieces which add an additional ten seconds to the timer.

Polterpup Mode's objective is to start by searching all the rooms on the floor with our Dark-Light Device to find the Polterpup Doghouse which is invisible. After revealing it, a set number of Polterpups and Big Polterpups will scatter to the various rooms, and we must use the Dark-Light Device to follow their tracks, reveal them in the furniture they are hiding in, and capture them to move on to the next floor.

Upon completing a floor, four red coins will spawn in random rooms and all players will be encouraged to track them down and collect them. Doing so will unlock a bonus item for one of the players to use on the next floor. The player is chosen by roulette and the odds increase for a player depending on the number of red coins they collected versus the other players. If the players fail to collect all four coins in time, no bonus item is awarded.

The bonus items are as follows:

A 2X or 3X Poltergust which will speed up the gauge needed to drain ghost HP. This is very useful for all modes, especially Hunter Mode and Boss Fights.

The Dark-Light Goggles which allow a player to permanently see all invisible things and Polterpup Pawprints on that specific floor, without having to search with the Dark-Light Device. You will still have to reveal them with it though. This is very useful for Rush Mode and Polterpup Mode.

The Regenerator allows a player to drop hearts upon sucking up a ghost, which any player can pick up, making them a moving Medical Unit. This is very useful in every mode, especially Boss Fights.

Lastly, the Blueprint allows the player to see every room on the floor without having to walk into them first. They can also see the rooms that the Polterpups and their Doghouse are currently hidden in, or even where the exit room is in Rush Mode. As said, this is very useful for Rush Mode and Polterpup Mode.

Every fifth floor the players will have a Boss Fight with a randomly selected ghost. Each ghost will have a larger pool of HP and entourage of smaller ghosts depending on how many players are present when the floor begins. Greenie's will carry bombs and occasionally drop them to shake off players. Slammers have a barrier that must be removed first, and again each time the player releases their hold of the ghost. Sneakers have portals that will send any player caught in them to a random room on the floor. Lastly, Creepers and Gobbers can summon other Creepers or Mini-Creepers to become hazards while the players attack.

The final floor, or top floor, will always be an encounter with a Poltergeist called The Brain. Upon defeating it, the players will complete the ScareScraper, update their high scores and will be rewarded Gold depending on how well they performed compared to the other players.

To summarize, we will need to get lucky and find all 45 randomly generated ghosts on every fifth floor (except the final one), play Polterpup Mode to catch a Polterpup and Big Polterpup, and finish a ScareScraper by catching The Brain, to get our third and final medal. I personally found it easier to play with others at first to dwindle the number of ghosts we need, then swap to solo when the number is in single digits, as the game seems to prioritize ghosts we have not caught yet when we play alone.

Thank you very much for watching! I hope this walkthrough was helpful, if not entertaining, and I'll see you all in the next one!
