Can You Beat Infernum DoG Before Moon Lord?

If you could hypothetically spawn Devourer of Gods before Moon Lord, would you even try to beat it? I'm pretty sure you can spawn Aquatic Scourge in Pre-Hardmode, but I haven't bothered with that. Maybe I will, who knows. But hey, here's Infernum Devourer defeated Pre Moon Lord. This was a pain to do. I kept choking the final phase teleports. + The limited movement isn't too good.
