Sing-along karaoke - Sabato sera - Bruno Filippini (Sanremo 1964)
Filippini's song (1964) contains some simple vocabulary (the days of the week and common verbs in -ARE).
It is catchy and very easy to understand and sing.
In my teaching experience, I've found that it is an excellent tool for an Italian Intro Level.
The pictures I chose convey the meaning of the lyrics.
Students love this song and they are often willing to sing it again and again. For this reason I uploaded the 'real' karaoke version here:
