Turtles for Kids |
Did you know turtles are omnivores? They eat both meat and plant foods. Sea turtles are excellent navigators. Scientists think they use the earth's magnetic field as a navigational guide. Freshwater turtles have strong legs with webbed feet, but sea turtles have flippers instead. Both types are essential to their ecosystems.
