Woman gets life in prison in killing of Portland pawn shop owner in his riverfront mansion
A 24-year-old woman accused of killing Milwaukie businessman Jimmy Pearson, owner of the A1 Hawk pawn shop chain, pleaded guilty to murder Thursday for shooting him at his riverfront home earlier this year.

Nistasha Tate was sentenced to life in prison. She will be eligible to pursue parole in 25 years.
