The first method is through UpWork the Biggest Freelancer Marketplace in the world where you can simply make an account and type in Video Editing OR Video Editing Jobs and you will be greeted with a list of job descriptions you can apply for.
The second method is using Facebook. Simply using the Search Engine to find Local events near you and this method in particular gives some great insight into How To Find not only Video Editing clients but ALSO Videography and Filming clients aswell.
The third and final method is using Twitter. Simply type in I need a video editor into Twitter and you will be greeted with a list of loads of different people requesting video services. Simply send them a tweet or DM and you will be on your way to getting your first clients.
