India: Ethnic Violence in Manipur Kills At Least Six | Subscribe to Firstpost
A fresh wave of clashes between ethnic communities of Kukis & Meitei in the northeast Indian state of Manipur has killed at least six people. Thousands formed a human chain on September 6 to protest the violence. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh chaired a meeting over the law and order situation in the state. He also met the Governor Lakshman Acharya to discuss the situation.
