I wanted to get some more experience editing other peoples singing an seen as i've edited a few males, I Contacted pixelsmixel, Gave permission for me to edit her cover, Thanks pixelsmixel.
But What did i do you may say?
1, Visual Edit - Synced the Ehanced Mastered Audio to the Original Video.
2, Audio Edit - Removed some background noise that was causing a hum when i got it into the edit, Equalized, Minor Treble Boost, Minor Bass Boost, Normalized, very minor compressor added with a -4 soft limiter, Amplifyed to -2.
Having only edited a few female vocals before i thought i'd have to learn afew more of new steps.
What i would hope for next time, independent vocal/lyric track an instrumental track for more control over the getting the vocals crisp throughout without needing to juggle with the music.
