Dr. Lavinsky joins us live from Dallas, Texas, USA, shares with us some of his early days of mineral collecting and then breaks out some of the absolutely incredible mineral specimens for which The Arkenstone is so well known.
Mineral Talks LIVE is a joint-venture effort put on by BlueCap Productions, the Mineralogical & Geological Museum at Harvard University and the Society of Mineral Museum Professionals (SMMP). This series was created as a response to the COVID-19 situation that has been greatly affecting the mineral world by isolating and separating us. Our goal is to bring a new venue where the mineral world can re-connect with each other during these difficult times.
