Carrying your baby skin-to-skin, between your breasts, is the best way to care for your small baby. This continuous skin-to-skin contact, also known as kangaroo care, keeps your baby warm, safe from infection, and helps her start breastfeeding sooner. This video shows how to position your baby, wrap her to your chest, and care for her needs and your own, while carrying her in this special way.

This video is intended primarily for mothers of babies who are born too small or too young in the developing world, but may be helpful to mothers of these babies worldwide.
