How to Use TikTok Transitions Feature

To begin, start creating a Tik Tok video as you normally would, by recording it within the Tik Tok app, or uploading a video from your device. Then tap Effects. In the menu at the bottom, select Transitions. You’ll see a variety of transition options. To apply one of these transitions to your video, move the marker on your video timeline to the point where you want the transition effect to start. If your video has multiple clips, you’ll want to move this to a point right between 2 clips. Once you’ve positioned it properly, tap and hold on the transition you want to apply. Only hold it down for as long as you want the transition effect to last. If you make a mistake, you can use the Cancel button to undo it and try again. Add as many transitions as you’d like throughout your video. When you’re done adding them, tap Save in the top right corner. After that, you can proceed with posting your Tik Tok as you normally would.
