President Joe Biden was confronted with a gaffe he made while discussing Vice President Kamala Harris an hour earlier when he fielded one final question after White House officials attempted to end his Thursday press conference.
During his first response, Biden mistakenly referred to Harris as “Vice President Trump,” a moment that former President Donald Trump quickly mocked on social media. Earlier in the day, the president had similarly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
Asked for a response, the president simply told reporters to “listen to him,” before exiting the stage.
