In this tutorial we will explore some methods of using 3d lights in hand painted scenes. Hand painted 3d works look really nice when we directly paint light and shadows on to the meshes. it is just like treating the 3d scene as a canvas. but from time to time interactive 3d lighting is a must. that is when we need to consider how much we can compromise with the pure painterly look we can get from hand painting everything including light and shadows. So it is all about reaching a balance. Lets find out this balance together!

This tutorial is a result from some of the frequently asked questions specially by those who tried my course. So it can be considered as a course update too. And please feel free to let me know about your concerns regarding painterly 3d. I will try to explore solutions as usual!
