Smart Animate
Giving users feedback is 90% of the UX Design process. Prototyping in Figma doesn’t have out of the box solutions for this because there is no out of the box interaction design system. You’ve got to make interaction animations yourself! And the best way to do that is chaining frames together with Smart Animation transitions.
The first step to Smart Animation is that you can make the entire frame interactive, or buttons inside of the frame. Here, I make it so you can tap on the bookmark button and then it triggers an animation. The animation is made with Figma’s Smart Animate feature. Any layer, group, or frame named the same on Frame A and also Frame B, will automatically be animated with Smart Animate.
