Syktyvkar: 'insulting the feelings' of residents
Once upon a time, I put Syktyvkar among the rating of “good cities of Russia” at 17th place... “How dare I? It’s such a terrible city!”
Historical buildings are disfigured in the city, and snow is cleaned only for show. In winter, walking around the city is almost impossible. The city primarily cares about cars, not pedestrians. New built panel-high-rise neighborhoods look like wretched 'boxes'. So why do I like Syktyvkar so much?
