Calliope Mori - Internet Brain Rot (Metal Remix)
Another favorite from Sinderella! Calli does not hold back here, clapping back at her haters while sounding great doing it; that hook's probably gonna get stuck in my head for weeks. I like that one line that takes a shot at those TikTok comments specifically ("This song's fire on mute, I think").
This remix is another combination of Lamb of God and Trivium's styles, which I'd previously done for Shinigami Note. There's a reason I chose those two bands in particular, and it's not just because their style fits the song well. Calli's bars about hate brigades on the web is exactly the kind of thing Lamb would write about -- in fact, they've actually done songs about online chaos and culture wars before, with songs like Omens, Checkmate, Ditch, Delusion Pandemic, and Memento Mori (I swear that last one's just a coincidence). Trivium have also done a song about hate mobs (The Sin And The Sentence), as well as other dark parts of the internet (Other Worlds being about the isolation that comes with online anonymity, and Bending The Arc To Fear being about the constant surveillance in the wake of new technology). Aside from that, there was one part in Drowning In The Sound where Corey did a doodle over Matt's solo, so I wanted to try something like that out for this song's solo.
