Watercolor is a beautiful medium that uses the flow of water to create unexpected results. Watercolor paint can be purchased in tubes or dried in pans and is a great medium for creating unique images.
In today's video, geared to beginner watercolorists, I show wet-on-wet technique, and wet-on-dry, to build up layers. We'll also add spatter to the painting to create an "imperfect" effect that makes the pumpkin vibrant and yet playful.
I use Koi Watercolors in the tube, the colors are optional, but the technique is important.
Colors include: Yellow Orange, Lemon Yellow, Vermilion, Perylene Red, Viridian Hue, Cobalt Blue, Prussian Blue, Sepia, Dark Green
