Hello friends! Today we are reviewing the TAURUS cruise missile. This technological development surprises with its power and precision. Let's take a closer look at the characteristics of this amazing rocket.

The development of Taurus cruise missiles began in 1994, and was carried out by the German company Daimler-Benz Aerospace AG and the Swedish concern Bofors. Even before the rocket was tested, the Bundestag spent $335 million on the purchase of Taurus in 1997.

Taurus is an air-to-surface cruise missile with a range of up to 500 km. The ammunition is equipped with a combined guidance system that allows it to fly over long distances without GPS support. Taurus are powered by a small, low-thrust Williams WJ38 turbojet engine. Most of the missile's flight takes place at an altitude of 50-70 meters, which allows it to bypass air defense systems.
