To disable search suggestions in Chrome on Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, first, launch Chrome on your computer:
1. In the top-right corner of Chrome, click the three dots.
2. From the three-dots menu, select Settings.
3. On the Settings screen, in the You and Google section on the right, click Sync and Google Services.
4. You're now on the Google Services page. Here, scroll down to the Other Google Services section, then turn off the Autocomplete Searches and URLs option.
And you're all set. Chrome will no longer offer any search suggestions in the address bar.
