This is an epic detailed walthrough of my 2023 Vocal Tracking Template in Ableton. I spent a while trying to figure out how to replicate Pro Tools Routing.
The Vocals are running pretty hot since we want the singer to hear themselves perfectly. If you do not have my exact plugins it's all good just replace them with similar ones that you have or just stock plugins!
I set up aux tracks for parallel compression, reverb, multiple delays and chorus. If you prefer you can set them up as normal returns.
The reason why have my return tracks set up as dummy tracks routed to audio tracks is because I want to run all the vocal effects through the same group as the vocals.
