Unfortunately, Alex Marquez reacted too late and instead hit Bagnaia, causing both of them to slide off the track.
Bagnaia was crushed under the front of the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 motorbike ridden by Marc Marquez's younger brother.
The defending champion also had to undergo examination in the medical room.
