Story line:
" It was already about 6 o'clock in the evening, but my family, my beloved Alison and my parents had not arrived yet. We were supposed to celebrate this Christmas together as a family. I began to worry as I knew that the train would arrive in the nearby village of Grinndale at 4:45 pm. The distance from my house to the village was about 3 miles, which they had to travel by regularly running bus in about 10-15 minutes. There were no mobile phones in those days, so there was no way to contact them. I realized that something had happened, and decided to go towards them in my old but powerful pickup truck. There was a strong blizzard outside, and the roads were covered with snow, apparently this was the reason why my family was late. Within a few minutes, I warmed up the engine of my Ford F100 and then drove along the country road towards the highway. The wide 20-inch wheels of my car sometimes slipped on the slippery snow, but still confidently continued to row forward. I got onto the highway, visibility was very poor and the road was heavily covered in snow. To my surprise, on the way to the village I did not meet a single oncoming car. Flakes of heavy snow were flying into the windshield at great speed, so I was driving very slowly. And after driving about two miles, I saw a bus standing on the snow-covered side of the road. The bus was heavily covered with snow, and its front part was in a snowdrift. I stopped, there were about 10 people near the bus who were trying to push it onto the road. I was very happy to see my family among these people. They were also immensely glad to see me, no less than I was them. I immediately took a cable out of the trunk of the car, attached it to the towbar of the bus, and the other end to the towbar of my pickup truck. Then, sitting behind the wheel, I pulled the bus out of the snowdrift with slow but confident jerks forward. Everyone was happy, both the passengers and the bus driver. My family got into the pickup truck and we drove home together. When we arrived, we all hugged each other again and settled down in the living room by the fireplace to warm up, drink tea and just talk. A few hours later we were already sitting at the festive dinner, and were immensely happy on this wonderful Christmas evening! "
