Wolfi Octopus - Smallest Octopus in the WORLD does comedy disappearing act on night dive!

This tiny Wolfi octopus was no more than inch tall - footage was recorded using a macro lens (CMC1) from Nauticam attached to a Canon G7X camera in Nauticam housing.

Facts about the Octopus Wolfi:
The world's smallest known octopus is the Octopus Wolfi. It was discovered and officially classified in 1913.
The Octopus Wolfi measures only 1.5 cm in length!
These tiny octopuses are found in the Indo-Pacific Ocean
A full grown Octopus Wolfi weighs less than a gram.

There is still a lot to be learned about the octopus Wolfi, although it has been noted that the males have fringe-like rims on their suckers, an uncommon trait.
The tiny Octopus was spotted during a night dive while staying at Magic Oceans Dive Resort in Anda Bohol, Philippines.

Just love the way it surreptitiously tries to hide from the camera at the end - almost like it doesn't think it has been seen.
