Heres one simple trick to use to make sure theres always money coming in every single month.
I noticed early on that the Freelancing career can be anxiety driven, panic inducing, worrying bout where the next checks going to come from
so my first move as a freelancer was to solve the consistency problem, I went hard looking for long term reccuring clients, i found 2 of them!
Two youtubers which were paying me 1,000 p/month each.
I now had a base of 2k a month to build on
anxiety was gone, the bills got paid
Even if I didnt land a single other client that month, and believe me it happened, my base was secure
Now i went to town looking for one off jobs, project hopping if you will looking to increase my income
Id shoot nightclubs on the weekends , buisness promo videos around my local area, Music videos for rappers , real project hopping
And now with theses additional projects coming in I was making more income, 3k - 5k a month.
But if I never got another project, I still had the base secured of 2k a month
So new freelancers do yourself a favor, dont build an axiety driven career worrying about where the next project is going to come from, go to work, secure your base and increase your monthly salary with one off gigs
