SO SOME OF YOU OLDIES OR VIEWERS OF MY OLD CONTENT might remember The Living Island • Living Island - Mandatory Meme from 6 years ago. I've since redone a lot of the designs for the characters but a couple of my friends offered to repurpose the old ones, and I got the pleasure of redrawing the foxy man again, now known as Spyware uwu
I designed Hotfix for Pyro as a custom a while back, getting to animate her for this was such a delight. The evil noble Chatbot was designed by Pyro, so it was fun drawing him for the first time as Pyro told me the story of these super awesome fan characters whose story takes place in books 2 and 3 of Mandatory.
Things sure are spicy, for once the nobles are getting the claws taken to them instead, which I LOVED Pyro's take on so jumped on the opportunity to do this meme of Hotfix getting her revenge on the nasty, and Spyware joining the rebels is delightful...even if he may have a diabolical streak.
All these three used to be well acquainted with one another, but Spyware and Chatbot became responsible for Hotfix's home village being massacred. The two traumatized Hotfix and left her as the sole-survivor. This is something Media's nobles such as Chatbot are quite known for when raiding mage villages, but for this circumstance, they did it just to preserve their reputation and Hotfix never recovered from the horrible betrayal. However, Spyware started to have second thoughts about his actions after long battles and facing Hotfix as his enemy. With time, he decided to help her take out the perpetrators for Media's current ...murder problem. Did he have something to gain from this? Has he really had a genuine change of heart? We await to find out!
