Russia is taking it a step further. The authorities want to combine both practices: to set a digital control over Russia’s population and, if needed, to restrict citizens’ rights – all that via a single click of a button, like in some video game.
They want to make a mechanism for the military to mass-configure a person's life and induce them to take the right action. Even if after this action the person can say goodbye to his life.
