How to fix 'Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware' (Code 37) in Windows 7
How to fix: Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware, (Code 37). I am connecting my Samsung galaxy Android mobile to computer using USB data cable, but my phone is not showing under portable devices section in my computer. Also, Auto play Window doesn't opens. When i check the device manager, i found a warning is showing for 'Samsung Mobile USB Composite device'. When i check the properties, i found the device status as 'Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware (Code 37)'.
Solution: Open the device properties Window, switch to 'Driver' Tab and uninstall the driver. After delete the driver software for the device, unplug your phone from the computer. Then connect your mobile to computer using USB cable, this time driver installation occurs. After completing the driver installation your device will be shown in the portable devices.
