The NBA has produced countless iconic moments, but some plays stand out for their sheer humiliation and unforgettable nature. Vince Carter's "Dunk of Death" at the 2000 Sydney Olympics remains one of the most iconic, where he leaped over the 7'2" Frédéric Weis, slamming the ball with authority. Weis, a first-round NBA draft pick, would forever be associated with that moment, even though he later expressed respect for Carter's athleticism.

Another legendary humiliation occurred in 1997 when Allen Iverson, a rookie, crossed up Michael Jordan, one of the greatest defenders of all time, leaving him off-balance and nailing a jumper. This play symbolized Iverson's arrival as a star and Jordan's recognition of his skill.

Scottie Pippen's dunk on Patrick Ewing in the 1994 playoffs was equally bold. Not only did Pippen dunk on the Knicks' star, but he also taunted coach Pat Riley and fan favorite Spike Lee, making it one of the most disrespectful moments in NBA history.

James Harden added to the list in 2018, when he crossed over Wesley Johnson and stared him down before draining a three-pointer, highlighting both his skill and Johnson's misfortune.

Shaquille O'Neal's powerful dunk on Chris Dudley in 1999 was equally brutal. After dunking on Dudley, Shaq shoved him to the ground, adding insult to injury. Dudley, frustrated, threw the ball at Shaq in a moment that encapsulated the psychological impact of being dominated by O'Neal's physicality.

Other humiliating moments include LeBron James’ effortless spin move over Paul Millsap in 2010, Kobe Bryant crossing up Steve Nash in 2006, and Steph Curry’s slip and airball in 2016. Each of these plays left a lasting impact on both the players involved and the fans who witnessed them.
