Is The Subaru WRX STI Ultimate Enthusiast Daily Driver?
👋 My friend finally bought one of hid favorite cars! Let's drive his newly punches Subaru WRX STI and talk about what makes it the ultimate daily driver geared towards the enthusiast driver! He used to own the normal Subaru WRX and at the time that was the perfect car. After selling the WRX to go into flight school to become a pilot, he is now back in the game with this beautiful blue STI and is enjoying the upgrade! In todays video we talk a lot about how the Subaru WRX compares to the more performance oriented version, the Subaru WRX STI. This 2019 STI is a great car and still retains a ton of the practicality that the WRX has. They are both same car with plenty of room for 5 people, a big trunk and the AWD system. The STI is noticeably faster and actually can put you back in your seat. The STI also has much better brakes that really bring the car down to a stop. The 6 piston Brembo brakes in the front calipers along with the Brembo brakes in back are a fantastic upgrade. The differential in the STI is adjustable with a control in the car and it lets you decide how much power you want to the front wheels and rear wheels. The drive modes also help adjust boost levels and throttle response. All of those aspects really make the Subaru WRX STI a step up in the performance world and are noticeable out in the mountain roads. The Subaru WRX is more of a sporty economy car that is very basic with brakes, suspension and doesn't have any drive modes. You really just get the peppy Boxer engine. So as a daily the WRX is still better with its lower cost, better gas mileage and more comfortable suspension. But if you want the same kind of car with very minimal sacrifices for daily driving, and want the enthusiast car, the WRX STI has all the real performance gains to make this a perfect blend! Connors sold his WRX to go into flight school, and now that he is a pilot he bought his dream car again! The WRX STI is a great car for his new chapter of life where he can really use the performance side of the STI and still have the practical side of the WRX. So if you want a great daily drivable sportscar with more pep then a boring car, the WRX is perfect. But if you want that extra performance, the STI is a great option! I had a blast driving the STI in the country roads and it truly is a solid car! 🏎
