繊細さとパワーを兼ね備えた歌声を持ち、グルーヴィーかつエモーショナルな楽曲で魅了するR&Bシンガー。日本語と英語を自由にフローするソングライティング力を活かし、ルーツである90年代・00年代R&Bのフレイバーを纏った現行R&Bサウンドを乗りこなす。これまでの作品は全て自主制作で、作詞作曲・ビジュアル・レーベルワークに至るまで自身でこなしながら、同じ志を持つ仲間と共に精力的に活動を続けている。2020年にaimiとして 1st EP『Water Me』をリリース。初登場iTunes R&B／ソウルチャート1位を獲得。無名ながらリード曲「Sorry」がJ-WAVEのSonar Traxに選ばれる。2021年には2nd EP『Changed 4 Good』をリリースし、アジア圏でもストリーミング数が上昇。
同年よりblock.fmにてR&Bプログラム「Vibe-In Radio」のパーソナリティを務め、disk union公式サイトにて最新R&B楽曲を紹介する連載コラムも一年間担当。Vibe-In Radioとして初企画したR&Bパーティー「Vibey」では250人以上を動員。またDJ KOMORIやgrooveman Spotのオリジナル作品に客演参加し、業界内でも話題となった。2022年2月に3rd EP『Chosen One』をリリースし、iTunes R&B／ソウルチャート1位を再び獲得。東京・大阪・福岡・東北など全国的にライブ活動を展開。昨年末に国内のR&Bシーンを盛り上げるため自ら立ち上げたイベント「Stay Ready」を代官山Space Oddにて初開催、大成功させる。
