In this video you will learn how to create the circuit diagram for a cardboard feed in a packaging machine automatically with EPLAN eBUILD Free. Our modular safety relay myPNOZ or the small controller PNOZmulti 2 are available for monitoring the photoelectric proximity sensors that evaluate the cardboard box feed. Once you have decided on a control system, start EPLAN eBUILD Free. The result is a circuit diagram with article numbers for our components. You'll see that it's very easy without any specialist knowledge.

▬ Safe monitoring of the cardboard feed on packaging machines ▬▬
Packaging solutions must often accomplish one task above all: to safely protect operators. The same applies to monitoring the cardboard feed. In this case it is essential to avoid a scenario in which an operator can reach into the machine and get injured because the opening for the material feed is empty.

With the Pilz solution you can increase the safety and productivity of your packaging machines. You can choose either the safe small controller PNOZmulti 2 or the modular safety relay myPNOZ. Two optical sensors are required for each feed device. If there is insufficient cardboard in the magazine, the sensors will report this state to the programmable safety system. The machine is stopped until the cardboard is replenished and production can restart.
Users can be confident that all the necessary safety precautions are met and the feed of packaging material is safely monitored
