iPhone 5 - Lightning Adapter: My Thoughts
In this episode, I give my thoughts on the newly-announced Lightning Adapter for the iPhone 5. Many in the tech community suggest that Apple is unnecessarily moving away from the 30-pin connector to yet another proprietary connector in order to force consumers to update their hardware. I argue that 9 years is long enough for Apple to support its dock connector and that moving to another proprietary standard makes perfect sense for Apple.
