How to Remove Location from Instagram Post !
In this video, you'll learn how to remove a location tag from an Instagram post without having to delete and re-upload the photo. If you added a location to a post and now want to remove it, you can easily do this through the editing options on the Instagram app.
To begin, open the Instagram app on your device and go to your profile by tapping on the profile icon in the bottom right. Scroll through your posts to find the one from which you want to remove the location. Once you find the post, tap on it to view it in full, and then select the three dots in the top right corner of the post. In the menu that appears, choose “Edit.”
When you enter the edit mode, you’ll see the current location displayed just beneath your username. Tap on the location name, and this will open a new screen. Here, you’ll have the option to remove the location. Instead of choosing a new location, simply tap the "minus" or "cross" icon next to the location. This action will clear the location tag, and when you return to the main edit screen, you’ll notice the location is no longer displayed.
To save these changes, tap the “Done” or “Save” button in the top right corner. Your post will now appear without any location tag, while the content itself remains untouched. This is a great way to manage the privacy of your posts or simply keep your feed location-free.
