How to fill GATE 2022 application form - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has released the GATE 2022 application form on September 2. Applicants waiting to apply for the GATE 2022 exam can now proceed to fill the form. The GATE application form is available only online on the official website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Before doing the GATE 2022 registration, applicants need to check the internet connectivity and system requirements clearly.
The GATE 2022 application form process involves Registration, Filling the Application Form, Uploading of photo, signature and other documents and payment of the application fee. Applicants should keep ready the scanned photo, signature and a valid photo if proof document as per the specification.
Also, GATE 2022 application fees of rs. 750 can be paid online except the General category. Candidates who come under the general category have to pay rs. 1500. So the candidates should keep ready the Net-banking/debit card/credit card details for payment of fees.
Candidates appearing in one or two papers should fill in only one application form. In the case of multiple GATE registrations, only one will be considered and the remaining registrations will be cancelled without any fee refund.

Registration:
👉 Open the official website and click on the “Apply Online” button- gate.iitkgp.ac.in
👉 Click on the “New User? Register here” link in which applicants have to fill in their names and click on the confirm button.
👉 Then necessary details can be filled up which include - Mobile number, Email ID and password.
👉 Then click on the submit button.
Filling GATE application form 2022:
👉 Login using the enrollment ID or email address and password and read the instructions carefully.
👉 Click on the “Start Filling the GATE 2022 application form” button to fill in other necessary details on the application form includes exam details, personal details, address, qualifying degree details, and upload documents.
👉 Candidates have to upload scanned images of the Photograph, Signature and photo id proof as per the specified format. Then click on the “Review and Submit” button.
👉 After that, they have to enter their name for E-signature and click on the “Submit and Proceed to Payment” button.
👉 An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number as SMS. Enter the OTP and click “ok” to submit the application form.
Application fee payment and submission: After the successful submission of the GATE application form 2022, proceed to pay the application fee through a debit/credit card/internet banking/wallet/UPI. After only successful payment, the candidate can download the pdf copy of the submitted application form.
