Asia's Biggest & Oldest Tiger Waghdoh Died
Waghdoh (T38) was the legendary male Tiger of Tadoba National Park
He used to Guard his family against other male tigers.
The Tiger was regularly challenged by other young males for territorial dominance.
Since he was much older, he could not withstand the strength of younger males.
Villagers staying in Sinala found the carcass of the Big Tiger on the afternoon of 23rd May 2022.
The Love Story of Madhuri and Waghdoh
The Love Story of Madhuri and Waghdoh begins as "Yeda Anna" (T34) - the former king of Tadoba was defeated by Waghdoh.
In 2011, Madhuri delivered 4 cubs sired by Waghdoh. This Litter was popularly known as the Telia Sisters - Sonam, Lara, Geeta, and Mona.
Madhuri was expelled by her daughter Sonam (T-30) and eventually left the Moharli Range (Core Area of Tadoba) and settled at Devada Buffer Zone.
Her lover Waghdoh could not bear the Separation and he too came to the Buffer zone.
Waghdoh, Madhuri, and their cubs used to spend a lot of time together.
Usually, the male tiger after mate doesn't care about the tigress much. But Waghdoh was different.
The Love of Waghdoh and Madhuri is no less than any Bollywood Story.
Why Waghdoh is known as Scarface?
In his youth, he faced injury. His right eye was severely hurt and he couldn't open it entirely.
Experts say the injury made him partially blind.
The cause of injury is still unknown. But that scar mark makes him look Scarier and more dangerous!
Cause of Death?
Starvation and Weakness are the primary reasons for Death.
The Tiger died on 21st May and his internal organs have been decomposed to a high extent.
