17 years ago, we visited our first country together. Never in a million years would I have imagined that 17 years later, we'd have visited 172 countries together. 🥰 (I also never would have guessed that I'd be 33 with no home, kids, or even a car 😜)
This first picture is from a missions trip we took together in high school. Hud and a few of the guys buzzed mohawks in their hair one of the first days. (Which is why he had such a short haircut here 😜).
Growing up, I didn't travel internationally much. When we got married, I had only ever visited 3 countries (the US being one of them, Canada, and this - the Dominican Republic).
But I should have known when I married a dreamer, that he and God would have different plans. 🤣
Traveling to every country in the worldwas never the goal of ours. We thought we'd take 1 gap year and RV around the 50 states, but then one thing led to another and... 😜
Originally, the reason we wanted to travel was to see places, but somewhere along the way, the thing that kept us traveling was the people. Haha I know this is the cheesiest line but it's true. Everywhere we've visited, we've met some of the kindest people who've gone out of their way to welcome us to their country. And we hope through these little videos that we can share a piece of this beautiful world and the people in it!
Thank you so much for everyone who has been following along on our little journey. It means so much to us! ❤️
