So I thought I was done with talking about Online Store 2.0 but it appears Shopify included a new feature that didn’t make it into announcements at Unite 2021. I’m talking about Storefront Filtering.

If you check out the page on Shopify’s official documentation talking about ‘Theme Architecture Versions’, you’ll see that Online Store 2.0 came with improvements like ‘Sections Everywhere’, ‘Enhanced App Support’ and ‘dynamic sources’ but what they failed to mention in their Unite 2021 announcements is this massive improvement to collection filtering.

So in this video, we’re going to explore this new feature and start to incorporate it into our theme.
