Add a mask over a shape layer in After Effects
Hi tech fans! It's me, Mackenzie. I'm going to show you how to apply a mask on top of the shape layer in Adobe After Effects. Let's get in.
First, open Adobe After Effects and then go ahead and make a composition. Once done, go up to the shape layer tool and create any shape you like.
While the shape layers selected, go up and hit this tiny icon called Tool Creates Mask, then go ahead and overlay a mask on top of your shape layer.
