Here’s HOW MUCH I paid for my 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser…
In this video I talk throughout how much I paid for my 80 series Land Cruiser. 1997 was the final year of the 80 series, the 40th anniversary edition and Collectors Edition were both offered. This is a collectors edition here… original MSRP was $49,700 back in 1997, which equates to $94,000 in modern dollars. Did I pay too much? If you’ve ever hunted for a clean 90s Land Cruiser, you know how difficult it can be to find a near perfect example. They all come with a story of some sort it seems. They all have accidents on the record and all have wel over 250K miles. This one had 167K miles, clean carfax, 1 owner, no rust CA vehicle… so I paid for it.
Would you have preferred to have seen a nice 100 series or 60 series instead?
