Iran’s foreign minister has vowed a "definite and calculated" response to the assassination of a prominent Hamas leader in Tehran, an act Iran blames on Israel. The killing, which took place on July 31, has been described as an "unforgivable violation" of Iran’s security and sovereignty. While Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility, the incident has worsened the already volatile relations between the two nations.
