Chapter 17: The Apostate is the first episode of the third season of the live-action television series The Mandalorian. It was directed by Rick Famuyiwa and premiered on Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
Plot Summary:
On an unknown planet, The Armorer is making a Mandalorian helmet. A kid swears the creed when an alligator-like creature attacks the Mandalorians. The creature eats a few of the Mandalorians, but Din Djarin arrives in his N-1 Starfighter with Grogu and fires torpedos into the creature's side. Din then asks The Armorer how he can redeem himself. She says that he has to go to the mines under Mandalore to bathe in the living water.
