Hi and welcome to another quick camtasia tutorial.
Today you will learn how to easily resize images or videos to fit the screen.

Ok, Let’ go.
Let’s say that you have multiple images of different sizes.
You can see that the first image fits perfectly because it’s the same dimensions as the project.
To check project dimensions go to this drop-down menu and click project settings.
You can see lots of dimensions here.
If you want a high-quality video that fits HD resolution make sure that you choose this widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio with 1080p.
Ok
The second image is a bit smaller so you can just select it and stretch it beyond the canvas.
Select those dots around the image and just stretch it.
If you want to stretch from the middle hold down Ctrl key.
Just position it and it will look good.
The third image is smaller so you can try to resize it or just right click and select scale to fit to automatically resize the image and put it in the center.
The fourth image is also small and you can resize it to, and if you hold shift key you will be able to stretch it around without keeping the aspect ratio.
This is good for solid colors but if you stretch image or video it will look distorted.
So use this for solid color background images.
