2K version displayed on Vimeo as 1080p here: https://vimeo.com/59804735

This is the 4K version which should be viewable as "original" which also has been uploaded to Vimeo....does it look the same on here as the 2K version here? You tell me! https://vimeo.com/59804735

As a plus or pro member of Vimeo you can download both the 2K version there or the 4K version here. Both are of course heavily compressed from the originals so PLEASE bear that in mind when pixel peeping! ;)

The 2K version is around 28Mb/s and the 4K version is around 70Mb/s. The original is around 400mb/s. Vimeo compresses to around 5mb/s for streaming.

The human eye...better than any camera out there except in one key "feature", modern cameras are more sensitive than our own eyesight!

The equivalent megapixels of our eye when you calculate what it can see in it's peripheral vision is around 576 megapixels depending on the person...my megapixels are reducing by the day...and taking into the adjustments our eye makes with it's iris we can see the equivalent of 20 stop of dynamic range. Better than an Alexa? Not that much better than Red HDRx! For now the eye still wins in all but low light sensitivity where the average equivalent "ISO rating" for our eyes are around 800 ISO (again depending on the person) The native sensitive of my F3 with S-Log is one stop faster at 1600 ISO!

One day cameras will better our eyesight in every way, although we won't actually be able to see it ;)

Shot on the Canon 1DC in 4k at 24P. Lit with one Litepanel 1x1. Starring the 25 attendees of the 2013 Brussels Workshop, the organiser Haroun Souirji, the whacking king James Miller and myself. Can you spot the shots of me? I actually have a second edit which I am decided whether to put it up or not. It's pretty gross!

One lens used. The Canon 100mm Macro F2.8 L series with IS

Graded in Premiere with Colorista II. Edited native in 4K in MJPEG. I cannot tell you how for now ;) I will do an upload of the 4K version here if I can get it at a reasonable size, although it's a bit pointless as most of you won't be able to see it in 4k...I can't !

I used warp stabilise on some of the shots for a slightly unnatural feel...

For my review of the Canon 1DC go to gopb.co/1DC

To see this projected at 4k come see me talk about the pro and cons of the camera and why I seem to be shooting just about everything I can with it at BVE 26, 27,28th of February. Free registration although my 3 talks are first come, first served, so get there early!

HUGE thanks to everyone who is in this video...Canada next in March...what should I do with them? http://gopb.co/canadaworkshops
