Microsoft Edge is a browser that is way more advanced and better in functionality than the Internet Explorer which it replaced in Windows 10. Even though Internet Explorer still exists in today’s Windows 10, Edge is now the default browser. The browser has been here for quite a while now and it gets better and better with every update issued for it. However, it has quite a few issues, one of them being the ‘Can’t connect securely to this page’ error message while trying to connect to an HTTPS website. This is often due to the TLS encryption settings, though, that’s not it.

Edge, Chrome and IE users have stated that some webpages don’t open for them in that browser. A Can’t connect securely to this page tab opens when they try to open a required page.

The tab states, This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.”

These are a few of the resolutions that have fixed the page connect error for some Edge users.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).
