To add a watermark or logo to a video in VLC you need to go to tools, effects and filters.
Over here click video effects.
Go to the overlay tab.
Enable this box add logo.
Now search for your logo image.
Make sure that image is png format so you can keep the transparency, otherwise you will have white background.
Choose your logo.
You can position logo by adding pixels to the top for example 500 for top and 1500 for left.
This numbers means how far you move logo from top and from left.
Last step is when you are satisfied with logo and its position click save and go to media
Go convert, save.
Add your video.
Click on the dropdown menu and select convert.
Select mp4 from the dropdown menu.
Usually, it’s the first one.
Now click this little wrench icon and go video codec.
In this tab go filters.
Find logo video filter select it and click save.
Now click browse where you want your video to be saved.
And click start.
Wait for the process to finish and when you play the video you will see your logo in the bottom.
